If it gets to where we need passports to do anything like go to a
restrau see a movie etc.. I will boycott all those things.

Kind of the opposite happened here in my city with a restaurant. There was a list of restaurants floating around on Facebook that were not checking for vaccination status as required by the Province.

Staff of one of them grew concerned and quite a few of them quit, causing the establishment to close down temporarily. They then because subject to a Ministry of Labour investigation and now that restaurant is up for sale:

That's just messed up.
Lucky for me I live in a Red state with a Red Legislature.

The problem comes when they declare that you need a COVID passport for applying for a job or things like that. At that point you are fucked up unless you comply, there is massive civil disobedience, or migrate out of the country.

Luckily I live in a red state, we don't even have mask mandates other than at hospitals and Dr. Offices.

that has happened where they wont let you in if you dont have a mask, or have jacked up mask rules.

they make snarky signs and say things like 'if you don't like this, we don't want you as a customer'

people stop going there and the businesses shut down.

Most likely, it was done that way to prevent mass panic. If you are a conspiracy theorist you could also formulate the hypothesis that the government also wanted to make it look like they were more efficient than they actually were.

I personally think our government here acted like a beheaded chicken, running up and down at random without a clear plan.

Yes, sometimes I feel it more than others.

I used to get the flu shot every year. Some years it was nothing. Other year
I would get "sick" for a bit (for me, that's just low energy for about 6 hours).I would guess it depends on the strain of the flu that year.

Same here. Sometimes it was nothing, sometimes just wanted to take a nap. Never lasted into the next day.
