From the Jamendo (legal CC music dump) at archive.org:

    Tryad - Listen
    Tunguska - Electronic Music Society

Very cool stuff! They're also both on Bandcamp if you want to give a
    listen.

You can search for the keywords "Jamendo Scott" at Internet Archive over Gopher too:

Jamendo was the service and "James Scott", the guy from https://textfiles.com and tons of other
    dumps too.

I just saw this, it's pretty cool. I went to Jamendo.com to take a look
around, and had a sense of Deja vu.

In 1999, I set up the infrastructure for a site called epitonic.com,
which partnered with independent labels (SubPOP being one of the big
ones) to offer streaming music and free downloads. We had reviews, genre walkthroughs with history and photos, and a personal locker area where
you could create your own playlists and share them.

Alas, we were a bit too early - portable music was just taking off, and
we got lumped into the MP3=PIRACY mindset the recording industry was
painting music on the internet with.

It came back briefly in the late 2000s, but disappeared again.

    Queensryche

From hair bands, Queensryche it's the one I enjoyed most. I was a metalhead in late 90's/
early 00's and I listened to every group/genre from Rock and Metal from the 70's...

perhaps in the early 80s, but they became a bit better. Try the albums Operation Mindcrime
    Empire
    and Promised Land.

+1 for Inverse Phase - I went through a chiptune phase for a while - 8bitpeoples had some great artists. I bought Inverse Phase's Pretty
Eight Machine (all Nine Inch Nails covers) and dug it.

1Bit Wonder is on the internet archive now - https://archive.org/details/1bit_wonder

I've been able to find some on Pandora also; have not bought any yet...
